This a process of transferring a phone number from one service provider to another. If you already have an existing telephone number with another provider, but you would like to keep that phone number when you switch providers then you would need to “port” it over when you switch.
Typically, the cost of a single number port with Tech Advance is £35.00 with multi number porting costing slightly more. It takes between just 7 and 10 working days for a number port to complete with Tech Advance. During this time your number stays active with your old provider right up until it switches to us. There’s no downtime; we simply let you know once the port is complete and we’ve taken responsibility for your number. We do all the administration and hard work for you and within 7 to 10 working days your account will be switched to us.
There is no physical hardware change involved in the process of number porting. It can be handled quickly with little or no disruption of service
