Fylde Tax Accountants wanted to review their current business telephone system and Internet systems primarily to benchmark costs and improve if possible, on Internet access speeds.

Following an introduction to Preston based telecoms company Tech Advance from their IT provider, an initial meeting uncovered opportunities for Fylde Tax Accountants to both reduce costs and upgrade their existing phone system and Internet connection at the same time.

Tech Advance assisted in reducing the costs for telephone calls by over 50%, whilst also upgrading the broadband Internet connection to a new VoIP ready fibre broadband. The new broadband connection delivered Internet speeds 4 times faster than the existing connection and all at the same price as before.

Due to an existing contract obligation on the phone lines, it meant that Tech Advance were initially unable to upgrade the business telephone system for FTA. However, once the phone lines came out of contract, Tech Advance got straight to work upgrading the older on-site business phone system using ISDN2 lines, to a new state of the art cloud VoIP phone system.

The cost benefits were delivered by removing any maintenance costs for the older phone system and providing new VoIP phones which included, free calls to UK landline and UK mobile destinations.
