And it is because of Driver Hires continuing expansion that has meant the business has needed to make some changes with their telecoms in order to accommodate the rapid growth of the company.
Driver Hire UK in Bradford decided to upgrade their existing Siemens telephone system after recognising that the system could no longer support the number of telephones needed within their head office, both expansion capacity and new functionality were required.
The key requirements from Driver Hire were:
• A system with expansion capacity to support up to 100 internal telephone extensions.
• Advanced call routing options including announcements for incoming calls.
• A high level of resilient failover / disaster recovery.
• New tools for managing inbound and outbound telesales teams.
• Improved administration control.
• A lower cost of ownership and a strong return on investment.
Having invited several different possible suppliers to provide advice and competitive proposals for an upgrade, Driver Hire contacted Tech Advance as one of these companies as Tech Advance had supplied the original Siemens system back in 2003 and supported their business effectively over the years.
Following initial meetings, Tech Advance considered a number of leading UK manufacturers including Avaya, Mitel and Siemens and having considered pricing and functional benefits it became clear that the Siemens upgrade option was providing the best return on investment for their business, whilst delivering all of the functional benefits required.
Tech Advance also brought leading UK telecoms software vendor Oak Telecom into the solution in order to deliver a telephone activity reporting system, capable of delivering the management and real time reports about call flows that Driver Hire wished to put in place.
